L300 MANIFOLD USED TO CONVERT TBI STARION SOHC 4G63 ENGINE TO MPI.

 
 

 
  This manifold comes from this Van (L300 family). It has a 4G64 2.4 litre engine (RWD). (There was also a 4WD van with this engine).

 

 Specs for 4G64 2.4 1990. Notice max power is at 5000 RPM. Manifold is designed for torque not high RPM.

Note: 4G64 2.4 EFI was only available on the "Starwagon GLX" (people mover) version as shown and on the 4WD model not on the basic delivery van or Starwagon GL both (4G63 SOHC 2.0 with carby) so because of this are not that common when looking for them in wreckers/junkyard.

 

 4G63 SOHC 2.0 Head has a cover plate which means the L300 manifold needs a small mod as shown below.

 

 Simple job to carefully cut the manifold casting to allow the cover plate to clear. Looks like it's designed for it!

No other mods required for fitment.
L300 electronic distributor can be used for aftermarket ECU conversion

 

 L300 manifold installed on 4G63 2.0 1982 JA Starion using factory JD intercooler arrangement (which is the same as Starion/Conquest US and UK intercooled Starions). Needs a wash!
